Post refund
- Receive the refund slip after purchasing items at affiliated store with “TAX FREE” (post-tax-free shop)
(*Issuable for more than 30,000 won) - When leaving, show the purchased items and passport at the customs of departure port/airport and then get export validation.
(Non-refundable after 90 days of purchase) - Receive the refund amount from refund counter or unmanned refund machine at the departure port/airport.

Immediate tax refund
- Purchase items at affiliated immediate refund stores with “NICE TAX FREE” (post-tax-free shop).
(*Issuable for more than 30,000 won) - After showing the passport for verifying qualification, pay the remaining amount which deducted the refund money.
- Leave the country.
(Additional customs clearance and refund are not required)
Eligible only for refund of goods with value added tax.
(Except for items banned by the law other than duty-free items and food)
Immediate refund less than 500,000 won per time and refundable up to 2,500,000 won within length of stay.
- After beauty cosmetic procedure/surgery at affiliated stores with “TAX FREE” (post-tax-free shop), make the payment at the DESK of the hospital and receive the refund slip.

Make sure the hospital is the affiliated hospital/clinic with “TAX FREE”.
Because the cosmetic surgery doesn’t have items to make evidence, customs clearance is not required.
If you lose the slip, the refund may not be allowed.
- After staying the affiliated hotel with “TAX FREE” (post-tax-free shop), make the payment and receive the refund slip at the hotel front desk.

Make sure the hotel is the affiliated tourist hotel with TAX FREE.
Because the hotel stay doesn’t have items to make evidence, customs clearance is not required.
If you lose the slip, the refund may not be allowed.
